  1. Firstly, you have to open your search dialog box, type *.qbw, hit enter

  3. Further, you can do this step on any or all file, right-click on the file or folder, choose the properties tab
  4. Verify that the file has been labeled as a QuickBooks Company file, if not, you can move ahead to the next step
